How to Take It:
Common starting dose:
Adults: 25–50 mg once daily.
Children (OCD): 25 mg daily (increased gradually).
Maximum dose: 200 mg/day.
Take at the same time daily, preferably in the morning or evening.
Can be taken with or without food.
Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Nausea
Diarrhea
Dry mouth
Sleep disturbances (insomnia or drowsiness)
Dizziness

Serious Side Effects:
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:
Thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
Severe agitation, confusion, or hallucinations.

Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing).
Precautions

Interactions
Medicines to Avoid Without Doctor’s Advice:
Other antidepressants, especially monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Blood-thinners (e.g., warfarin) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen or aspirin (increased bleeding risk).
Herbal supplements like St. John’s Wort (risk of serotonin syndrome).
Always inform your doctor about all medications, including traditional and alternative therapies, you are taking.
